Is my ball screw always repairable?
In about 99% of cases, your ball screw is repairable and perfectly suitable for refurbishment. Only in the rarest cases do we recommend purchasing a new spindle.
When should I have my spindle refurbished?
We recommend having your spindle refurbished as soon as you notice the first signs of positioning issues with the feed axes. This way, you risk no further damage and can avoid unplanned machine downtime.
Do you repair DMG spindles?
Unittool repairs countless ball screws from the manufacturer "DMG" annually, saving its customers significant costs on new purchases.
